Since its inception, the Irish Doctors Orchestra has been committed to supporting local charitable causes.  

Our performances offer the opportunity to partner with a local charity, which often has a health promotion or health service aspect to its work.  The partnership provides an opportunity for the Charity to raise awareness of its work, as well as benefiting as a fundraising event through ticket sales and collections.  All of the costs associated with the performance, including professional conductor and coaching fees, venue hire, equipment costs, catering and rehearsal hire are financed through player membership fees in addition to some generous local sponsorship.  This allows all proceeds from the concert to be donated to the charity.
